Our Bulgogi Taco (UMMA Taco) is where Korean and Mexican flavors come together. We start with Prime grade, high quality beef, never choice or select quality, marinated in a light, savory bulgogi sauce that allows the natural flavor of the beef to shine. Cooked over mesquite charcoal from Mexico for a subtle smoky finish, each taco is served on your choice of fresh flour or corn tortillas sourced from a local San Diego tortilleria.

Finished with fresh cilantro, onions, and our infamous house made Kimchi Chili Crisp, the UMMA Taco delivers the perfect balance of savory, smoky, and spicy flavors in every bite.

Each order comes with your choice of our signature sauces:
• Salsa Verde (Spice Level 1)

• Kimchi Habanero Salsa (Spice Level 2)


• Spicy Roasted Salsa (Spice Level 3)

The inspiration behind the UMMA Taco comes from my experience growing up Korean in San Diego, surrounded by the incredible flavors, culture, and community of Mexican food. This taco is my way of paying respect to both cultures that helped shape who I am today.

I also want to dedicate this taco to my mom. When she first came to San Diego, she was learning to adapt to a new country and culture. At the time, there were very few Korean grocery stores, so she would visit local Mexican markets to find peppers, vegetables, and other ingredients to make kimchi and traditional Korean dishes for our family. The warmth of the community and the accessibility of those neighborhood markets helped her create a taste of home while building a new life in San Diego
